He/she will develop prospects through the sales cycle, including lead generation, product demonstrations, positioning solution strategies, contract negotiations and closing deals. The position is responsible for a specific territory/vertical assignment and carries a quarterly sales quota. The AE prepares oral and written presentations, collaborates in product demonstrations with subject matter experts, maintains sales pipeline reports, prepares sales proposals and price quotes. Meeting and exceeding sales goals on a consistent and continuous basis is crucial. Some travel is to be expected.
