Key Responsibilities:
·     Grow and manage the crude oil analytical team. This includes:
o    Provide employee reviews
o    Provide year-end performance review
o    Provide input on year-end performance bonus
o    Review and approve weekly timesheets
o    Participate in recruitment (review resumes, interviews)
o    Grow and develop oil team
o    Provide budgeting each year (conferences, subscriptions, other)
o    Help develop revenue model, product development, and product roll out schedule
o    Provide mentorship (encourage continuing education, allot time for teaching/training)
o    Participate in management-level meetings as necessary
o    Track performance metrics of the group
o    Provide group feedback
o    Facilitate team meetings
·     Support of BENTEK reports and services (eg Supply/Demand, Market Call, etc.)
·     Innovate, develop, and launch new oil-related analytical reports
·     Forecast oil production growth for various basins using rig activity data, well completion rates, IP data, and EUR information combined with pipe and refinery utilization.
·     Support oil-related consulting projects.
·     Provide market updates to clients, and speak at conferences. 
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.&lt;?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /&gt;
* Master’s degree preferred.
* Experience conducting research and market analysis in the crude oil and refining markets.
* Proficient in SQL, MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), forecasting, statistical analysis, knowledge of hedging strategies.

Job Description
As a member of our Consulting Team, this individual will be involved in developing conclusions, risks, and recommendations for our consulting clients and presenting these results directly to the client's team. The team will be responsible for analyzing the natural gas, NGL, oil markets, energy assets, competition and opportunities of specific interest to each client. This individual will need to effectively communicate market developments; methodologies and assumptions behind our forecasts and projections; support for our conclusions and recommendations. This role will be involved in developing presentations to effectively communicate information to our client's board of directors, executive officers, and management teams. In addition, it will be critical to assess the client's need for existing products or the need for customized analysis. This person will also be responsible for handling data management, research and analysis, inbound service calls and outbound support calls. The right candidate must be outgoing, flexible, able to work well on a team, and be dedicated in order to work in our fast paced environment.

The intern will research and validate power plant new builds and retirements, industrial facility expansions and construction, and domestic utilities investment plans for the Demand Team. BENTEK is seeking a Web Developer to create new Web applications and enhance current Website infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
* Requirements gathering, database design, application integration, business logic development and wiring interfaces to the business layer.
* Collaborate with in-house design team to develop easy-to-use user interfaces.
* Develop and maintain Web applications that display data in multiple formats, including: PDF, XLS, formatted text/tables, graphs, charts, maps and other graphical representations.

The ideal candidate is a flexible problem solver who is open to new technologies and works effectively on individual projects as well as project teams. The ideal candidate will also have: 
* A minimum of 3-5 years developing Web applications.

Sales Account Executive

BENTEK is seeking a professional and dedicated Sales Account Executive to join the company's successful sales team. As part of our team you will be joining a group of driven professionals and the recognized leader in energy market analytics. 

Key Responsibilities
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and closing on new opportunities.  He/she will develop prospects through the sales cycle, including lead generation, product demonstrations, positioning solution strategies, contract negotiations and closing deals. The position is responsible for a specific territory/vertical assignment and carries a quarterly sales quota. The AE prepares oral and written presentations, collaborates in product demonstrations with subject matter experts, maintains sales pipeline reports, prepares sales proposals and price quotes. Meeting and exceeding sales goals on a consistent and continuous basis is crucial. Some travel is to be expected. Company will train to assure AE gains a solid understanding of BENTEK products and services.

Skills and Abilities
The AE must have 3 years demonstrated sales experience, negotiation skills, leadership skills and a proven ability to meet sales quotas in new and existing accounts. Hunter mentality essential. Will prospect for new business and upsells in a geographic/vertical assignment. Ability to manage a book of business and develop sales opportunities within energy, financial, industrial, governmental and other organizations. Experience negotiating contracts and resolving contractual discrepancies. Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills, including Microsoft office (Excel and Word). Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus. 

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation
AE is a salaried and commissioned position that includes a bonus for meeting goals. Base salary is based on experience.

This position could be based in our home offices in Denver, Colorado or remotely from Houston, Texas.
