Essential Accountability
* E-Marketing (primarily via Eloqua and Salesforce.com)
* Create and maintain a strategic roadmap for e-marketing applications including CRM &amp; marketing systems, external websites and campaign initiatives.
* Design and implement e-marketing processes to ensure effective electronic marketing and to ensure continued viability of online presence and reputation.
* Identify and recommend digital solutions to address sales, client services and marketing challenges and coordinate solutions with IT teams.
* Support execution, adoption and optimization efforts around identified projects and initiatives

·    Oversee an annual convention plan for educational markets: identifying appropriate meetings to attend; developing special individualized marketing plans for each meeting; insuring that necessary products, fixtures and promotional materials are sent; training the assigned representatives based on the meeting's objectives; and achieving sales and editorial goals for each meeting. Coordinate these tasks with convention personnel.
·    Answer customer and sales representatives' inquiries. Troubleshoot special problems.
·    Participate in presentation of product at all national, regional and district sales meetings as required.
·    Gather, assimilate, and analyze competitive product information and report same to product development and sales.
·    Work with product teams in identifying reviewers at key schools to maximize sales.
·    Provide assistance in closing business through personal visits with the sales representatives in key adoption situations.
·    Manage and train junior Marketing Managers on team as necessary.
·    Manage coordinator and/or other administrative support personnel.


·   Bachelor's Degree required
·   7 years marketing, sales or editorial experience in publishing is necessary
·   Experience in the higher education industry strongly preferred
·   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.&lt;?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /&gt;
·   Excellent analytical and Excel skills required.
·   Strong digital competency required.
·   Approximately 40% travel required
