McGraw-Hill Higher Education has an outstanding opportunity for a Learning Solutions Consultant (LSC) to join our team. The LSC will be based in MO, KS, or OK and will work out a home office.

Here are some of the exciting aspects of the opportunity:
* Sell Learning Solutions-based products &amp; strategies to colleges and universities.
* Help close adoptions for colleges and universities, assisting business units make yearly goals.
* Identify adopter's needs through interviewing, problem solving and technology skills. Strong publishing instincts and awareness of Learning Solution's capabilities will lead to increase in sales.
* Travel to accounts and demonstrate products to create awareness of Learning Solution's online courses resulting in greater market share.
* Work with the institutional reps to secure sales of our products at the state and institutional levels.
What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years proven success in higher education sales (strong publishing instincts)
• Team player
• Strong presentation skills
• Knowledge of online technology
• Ability to close the sale
• Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing
• Communicate across departments and business units; coordinating with editorial, marketing, finance and sales to achieve desired goals and plans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and move them forward to completion.
• Work remotely, travel up to 75% of the time, by ground or air transportation, and includes overnight stays.
