McGraw-Hill Professionalhas an outstanding opportunity for aMarketing Director- Medicalbased in our New York City offices.

TheMarketing Director- Medicalwill direct all marketing activities in the medical publishing group with a strong focus on leveraging digital marketing initiatives to drive influencers and end-user demand for print and digital medical content.

Essential Accountabilities:
* Oversee print marketing team in the development and implementation of plans for marketing programs which contribute to the growth and profitability of the Medical publishing group's print and digital products. Emphasis will be placed on developing and implementing online marketing activities to effectively reach niche markets.
* Manage Academic sales team to maintain and garner adoptions of Medical textbooks.
* Responsible for the development of effective packaging working closely with marketing managers, creative and editorial.
* Key member of the Editorial Board for Medical books and is responsible for reviewing all new book projects and contributing to sales and distribution goals.
* Create and manage marketing plans and budgets in order to maximize revenue and profitability.
* Minimum five years marketing experience for print and digital medical books required.
* Experience developing creative and successful marketing campaigns with the ability to master product and market knowledge quickly.
* Experience with online marketing required.
* Knowledge of medical markets required.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively across departments.
* Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
* Ability to travel required.
* Bachelor's degree required.
