This position is responsible to aid in the growth of the Enterprise Solutions business through the support and management of the sales staff, sales support staff, sales operations, product content owners and Enterprise Solutions senior management. Responsibilities: 

* Setting Commercial Terms, Contracts and Pricing – A key part of this job is to understand the client needs, market-place needs as well as value of all the Enterprise Solutions intellectual property represented in our data feeds. Based on these understanding the individual is responsible for creating competitive negotiated proposals for a single content set or multiple content sets while protecting the value of the content. This includes following a framework and methodology for pricing of the content and documenting fee strategies used to ensure parity amongst negotiated deals.
* Content Presentation – Liaising with Sales Operations &amp; Product Content owners on presentation of the Enterprise Solutions’ in RFPs, RFIs and Questionnaires. Providing insight on the packaging &amp; presentation of content into a cohesive bundle.
* Training – Coordinate internal Enterprise Solutions training for our sales organization as well as other internal resources. This includes liaising with the S&amp;P Capital IQ internal training organization to coordinate training schedule, presenters, venues and methodology used to ensure effective learning opportunities.
* Documentation – Work with Global Regulatory Affairs, Global Licensing and Compliance to document content fees and licensing requirements. Ensure that negotiated proposal details and status are documented.

Required:

* Bachelor’s Degree required
* 5 years’ experience in financial service data product management, sales or business management and a strong understanding of financial data sets.
* Ability to prioritize workload and work under strict deadline, time frames and pressure.
* Ability to develop fee proposals and negotiating business terms for global sales.
* Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationship.
* Ability to work independently but well in a team environment.
* Excellent written, oral and presentation skills to effectively communicate with members of the Enterprise Management Team, Product Content Managers, Contracts Lawyers, Sales and Customer Service
* Excellent organization skills with the ability to coordinate the actions of multiple parties and provide frequent follow-up.
* Proficiency in working with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong Excel skills are a plus.

McGraw-Hill Professional has an exciting position for aDirector of Financial Operations. The overall purpose of this position is to act as a business partner and lead the financial planning and analysis function and provide financial and analytical support for the Digital, Publishing, and Production groups. Become a part of global publishing management team responsible for product investment, pricing, and publishing decisions. 

Essential Accountabilities include:
* Support the Digital, Publishing, and Production groups by monitoring and controlling all financial aspects of the business including revenues, expenses, investments, and assets. Review, analyze and approve product proposals, providing guidance to the business partners to improve profitability and meet margin hurdles. Review and approve other investments, payments and discounts including plant, author advances, sales discounts and international transfer pricing terms.
* Lead the creation of the preliminary operating budget and medium range plan for the Digital and Publishing groups.
* Prepare the revenue, expense, and plant forecasts for the budget, monthly operating estimate, and other requirements. Review forecasts with senior management.
* Participate in the monthly closing process, performing reviews of revenue, mix, gross margin, and expenses to ensure the monthly financial statements are accurate. Reconcile balance sheet accounts. Prepare commentary to support the financial reports and plans as required
* Monitor and review inventory and author advance balances and reserve requirements. Assist the organization by creating processes and actions to grow revenue while minimizing the impact of write-offs.
* Prepares P&amp;L's and reviews the profitability by business group, sales channel, customer, and makes recommendations.
* Directs the plant investment analysis, accounting, and control functions.
* Working with the senior leadership team, provides support for the incentive compensation plan process for Digital and Publishing groups including the design and development of annual plans, and determining the payments.
* A bachelors degree isrequired
* Must havea minimumof 15 years experience in finance or accounting in a corporate environment, including a thorough understanding of accounting and financial statements
* Must havea minimumof 7 years experience at the management level in a financial planning and analysis role including preparing annual operating budgets 
* Must havestrong management skills, with a minimum of 5 years supervising, leading, and developing staff (3 or more direct reports)
* Must have experience creating and presenting materials to senior management.
* Must have experience representing business units implementing corporate-wide financial and business technology systems
* Experience making recommendations and influencing business decisions
* Strong analytical skills and judgment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Team-oriented, business partner, with leadership skills 

Preferred Experience:
* MBA or CPA strongly desired
* Public accounting background in a big 4 company is a big plus
* Solid understanding of business models and practices that involve selling products and services B2B, and B2C through retail sales channels
