McGraw-Hill Educationhas an exciting opportunity for aVice President, Compensation &amp; Benefitsbased inNew York City.TheVice President, Compensation &amp; Benefitswill manage McGraw-Hill Education's global compensation and benefits programs to ensure that the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent. They will also ensure compliance with all agency, federal, country, state and/or local laws. Additionally, they will provide analysis and recommendations to senior management on compensation and benefits strategies, and provides counsel and support to managers on compensation, EEO, and benefits issues.

Essential Accountabilities:
* Responsible for compensation and benefits plans to ensure consistency with Company’s strategy, business plans, budgets; includes annual cash bonus and sales plans, long-term equity plans, health, welfare, savings, pension plans
* Supervises, develops, implements compensation and benefits staff, guidelines and systems, recommending changes to ensure maintenance of Company’s human capital objectives/competitive position in the marketplace
* Administers compensation and benefits processes for job evaluation, base salary structures and long-term compensation plans, and for health, welfare, pension and savings programs
* Selects/manages external vendors for all compensation decision processes, benefits and savings enrollments and recordkeeping 
* Develops/presents Board material on compensation/benefits issues; partners with Legal and Finance to ensure all reporting, tax and SEC requirements are met
* Drafts written communications on compensation and benefits plans designed for multiple levels
* Develops and delivers workshops on compensation and benefits plans for employees
* Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related discipline
* 15 years of demonstrated compensation and benefits management experience
* Certified Compensation Professional designation (preferred)
* Demonstrated business consulting and project management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively interface with senior executives
* Ability to manage complex and consistent change of regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements
* Proven track record of successfully supporting a large global Corporate organization

Summer Intern – S&amp;P Capital IQ – Human Resources

The Summer Intern will provide support to HR Director and VP of HR.
Top responsibilities of the intern:

• Maintaining Training Event Logistics- Full Cycle- from sign up to completion
• Devising a scorecard for current employee metrics
• Regular Data Reporting and coordinate reporting with our partners
• Work on Internal Communications Working Group - including coordinating and re-launching ERG communications and rewards programs- happy announcement series


Qualified candidates should becurrentlyenrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited college/university and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Additional qualifications include:

• Interest in Human Resources field with HR coursework is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
