The position will also assist in preparing and maintaining regulatory filings on behalf of MHF\u2019s regulated entities in the U.S. and other countries, as requested by Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) lawyers.\n\n\nEssential Accountabilities\n* Review and summarize legal advice obtained from outside counsel and related regulations regarding MHF\u2019s regulated products and services.\n* Track changes and update MHF sales grid and related disclosures where needed for regulated businesses (i.e., SPSE, SPIAS, McGraw-Hill Financial advisory affiliates in Europe and Asia). Interact with and update business people/sales as needed on sales restrictions of regulated products and product/contract disclosure requirement\n* Update and prepare filings for S&P\u2019s regulated entities and/or products, when warranted.\n* Liaise with, prepare and make submission to regulators in the U.S. and abroad, including:\n* Assisting in gathering document for the annual update to Form ADV (including annual staff questionnaires) for 2 registered investment advisers and maintain numerous Part 2B bios for all advisory personnel of SPSE and SPIAS on an ongoing basis.\n* Liaising with relevant business people, Finance, HR and other departments to gather critical information for regulatory filings.\n* Prepare and review regulatory filings and disclosure documents for U.S. based investment advisers that are registered in other countries (i.e., Japan, Korea, and Australia) and coordinate with other GRA regional staff on filings.  \n* Gather and submit relevant McGraw-Hill SEC filings to GRA personnel in other regions for submission to relevant regulators.\n* Prepare annual state blue sky filings for 2 multi-state registered investment advisers and maintain IARD system.\n* Assist and coordinate with McGraw-Hill Legal in preparation and circulation of board resolutions for MHF\u2019s regulated businesses, globally. \n* Maintain and update regulatory filing calendar, regulatory developments chart and other calendars for MHF\u2019s regulated businesses. \n* Support GRA Department in preparing submissions to regulators and comment letters on proposed rules and regulations. Communicate S&P key messages when interacting with regulators and relevant business people.\n* Assist in the preparation of responses to regulatory inquiries and gather requested documents and data from relevant business units.\n\nOther Required Accountabilities\n\nAdministrative:\n* Prioritize and maintain files and records for department.\n* Ongoing phone contact with business people and compliance staff to collect data for updating regulatory filings and responding to regulatory inquiries.\n* Handle essential duties related to regulatory filings (e.g., photocopying, printing, and assembly of regulatory filing packages, mailing, etc).\n* Focus on confidentiality in Global Regulatory Affairs business environment.\n\n* Minimum of 3 years experience in regulatory, legal or compliance role either in-house with a financial services firm or law firm with a financial services or capital markets practice is required.\n* College degree required.\n* Excellent organizational, presentations and communication skills mandatory.\n* Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail is required.\n* Must be able to work in fast-paced team environment and to work independently, as well as on large projects as required.\n* Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
