The Client Development Associate (CDA) is primarily responsible for managing existing accounts, delivering a positive overall client experience and supporting account growth and new business development. Essential Accountabilities:

* Deliver client training on-site and via WebEx - Training on product functionality specific to user job function
* Work and coordinate closely with Sales team - Assist with planning client visits, seminars and conferences
* Provide training on product enhancements/upgrades/new releases
* Monitor product usage to identify training needs and ensure client retention
* Contribute to the achievement of sales goals for the assigned sales team and retention of revenue
* Assist with research for call preparation - includes spend reports, user status, contact backgrounds, organization background, presentation material
* Identify and communicate referral business throughout MHF and McGraw-Hill. Identify up-sell opportunities
* Contribute to the development of product documentation
* Pass certification on 100% of product/ service offering
* Participate in MHF sponsored events and conferences and organize client visits associated with those conferences
* Utilize CRM to log client interactions

**This position is based in San Francisco**
* 1-2 years of Financial Services experience, e.g. Banking Analyst Rotation or Sales Program preferred
* Demonstrates understanding of the industries in which MHF operates and can effectively communicate the value of MHF's product offering within these industries.
* Demonstrates skills in maintaining strong relationships with client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Demonstrates sound understanding of financial concepts and principles as it relates to clients objectives, and business needs.
* Completed formal training program culminating in a certification on applicable services/solutions and have applied those skills in an active role as member of sales team for a minimum of 12 months, a plus in qualification
* Successfully completed formal introductory course in consultative selling, account/territory planning and cold calling, a plus in qualification

Technical Skills

* Extensive knowledge of PC software, internet programs and PC systems, including standard operating systems to support metrics that track performance and support clients and Microsoft Office Suite 
* Experience using sales/client CRM systems.
* Understand the tools and data utilized in the standard workflow of the end user. Example of end users: Head of back office operations/Traders/ Equity and Credit Analysts/ Equity and Credit Portfolio Managers/ Risk Management/ Investment Bankers/ Retail Financial Advisors.

• Determine selection of properly qualified review panels, contact reviewers to secure commitment, commission reviews, create questionnaires, manage schedules, process honoraria, and create and maintain review data files. Analyze and evaluate reviews and develop synopses.
• Monitor flow of information among the Publishing Team, management, marketing, sales, production, design, and other functional areas.
• Prepare and submit turnover packets and work in tandem with project managers, development editors, and others to ensure timely publications.
• Ensure manuscripts are ready for production (e.g., checking final manuscript format against guidelines, checking page counts and art grids, verifying permissions are complete, etc.). If necessary, obtain permissions (e.g., written permissions, figures, cartoons, etc.) or advise author or freelancer.
• Perform office support duties: submit invoices, order supplies, monitor supply budget, update databases to ensure data accuracy, maintain project files, send mail and manage postage budget.

Analytical Support Unit (ASU) Coordinator - San Francisco
US Public Finance processes over 17,000 rating actions in a year. These actions are released within a short timeframe, thus the ASU Coordinator is critical for gathering rating action information and ensuring accurate setup. 
The ASU Coordinator’s role is to assist the analytical team with administrative tasks throughout the rating process and support analysts’ compliance with required processes and procedures. In addition, the ASU Coordinator collects, verifies and enters various corporate or technical data in CORE/Workflow Manager and other databases,
Main responsibilities:
• Work as a team to support timely rating action processing; Monitor rating requests, create and/or populate WFM jobs, and generate high quality rating letters.
• Support the error correction process by receiving error correction requests, creating templates, initiating jobs in WFM and ensuring proper signoff.
• Serve as the Records Management and Ratings Document Repository (RDR) experts for the business. Produce and distribute bi-weekly metric tracking of Official Business Records (OBR) upload for RPM jobs; Proactively manage compliance by alerting analysts to pending due dates and proactively address potential non-compliant activity of OBR upload for RPM jobs. Support ongoing records management activities, tracking and compliance. Conduct scanning, printing, filing and archiving as required
• Work with analysts to address any problems identified by Quality and provide feedback to Quality regarding implementation and practical considerations of policy compliance. Support information gathering for audits / reviews as required. Participate on other ad-hoc projects related to quality/compliance/audit matters. Support documentation of all compliance, policies and procedure related training.
• Provide back-up to all other ASU coordinators whenever needed
• Attend all compliance, policies and procedure related trainings
• Support ad hoc analytical activity, such as e-Ratings
• Assist analyst in Issuer correspondence as needed
