We are currently seeking an Intern for out Dynamic Research Services group in our Westlake Village, CA office.

Key Goals of this Position:


* You will assist in conducting market research studies on a variety of industries. More specifically, you will be working with your fellow associates as you fulfill the details of proprietary research projects that were requested by our clients.
* The position entails data checking, questionnaire development, data analysis, developing client presentations, and performing ad hoc assignments when needed. Knowledge of primary and secondary research and statistical principles is helpful, but not necessary.
* The successful candidate should enjoy working with numbers, be detailed-oriented, and should be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (familiarity with SPSS is a plus).
Required:

* Current college student (knowledge/interest in marketing research a plus)
* Strong interpersonal, writing/editing skills, and quantitative skills
* Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task
* Team orientation
* Strong customer focus
* Must be available to work for a minimum of one year with J.D. Power and Associates
* 16-20 hours/week during the school year and possibly full-time during breaks
* Must have a 3.0 GPA

* Develop/maintain client relationships and support associated sales activity. 
* Develop solutions that improve operational efficiencies of research studies and enable increased scalability.  
* Successfully use Excel, mTab and SPSS for data analysis and verification.

Fully support/enable Practice to achieve revenue targets. Provide practice with client focused customer service and strategic support.


Required:

* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. 
* Minimum of 6 years of market research experience strongly preferred. 
* Strong analytical and written skills essential.  
* SPSS proficiency a must.
* Demonstrated experience using Excel (macros preferred), PowerPoint (data graph creation), and Word (or similar software applications).
* 
Solid mathematical (statistical), analytical and writing skills required.

·     Contribute to User Interface development to support the business.
·     Collaborate with other team members, support group and departmental development activities.
·     Ensure all product documents (design, process diagrams, operational run-books, recovery manuals, etc.) are completed. Conduct reviews and walk-throughs for deliverables.
·     Enforce Change Management process standards and procedures. Utilize source control practices.


Required:

* Bachelor's Degree in related field
* 4 years programming and database experience
* 2 years ETL experience
* .NET programming a plus

Required:

* Previous experience with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
* Excellent written and verbal skills required for everything from proposal development to leading client seminars/presentations and planning sessions
* Demonstrated track record of sales revenue generation, growth, and ability to close sales
* 33 - 50% travel
